Inspired by Ace Attorney, fantasy fics/aus and Iorveths's Worlds
OVERVIEW
A universe where fantasy creatures (e.g., demons, demihumans, elves, etc.) coexist with each other and humans. Everything seemed perfect, a true utopia, until severe conflicts spiraled out of control, forcing countries to create a special area to judge such crimes in all habitats and for all species.
KCS is an acronym for Korean Court of Species.
As the name implies, there's different CoS around the word
Most known ones: America/Australia CoS, China CoS, Japan CoS
Each character at some point had to ask for help from the KCS or is linked to that it in one way or another.

Any kind of God is considered top tier, along with… aliens
Humans as well as Demihumans are seen and treated as bottom tier.
KCS is divided in the same sections as a normal court
The only change being Lawyers are called Mediators
because, well, they do both things
human lawyers are only that, they cannot be mediators
Angels follow God’s laws and rules
only if living in earth, they can be judged by KCS
There’s severe other Gods, though. Like Selene for the werewolves.

Korean Court
Institution created to bring harmony, peace and utopia after certain conflicts that arised when humanity started living with other beings. Conflicts such as the great vamp-were rivalry matches or the overconsumption of souls by demons called for measures, forcing all the nations to construct a special place to resolve these cases. That’s how, in Korea, KCS was made.
KCS CUSTOMS
Sirens and all aquatic beings have a court underwater
so do other species, such as volcano fairies (lava), arctic demis (ice/snow), etc
CoS must accommodate all species AND habitats
KCS pairs with God when it comes to judge Angels
there’s an archangel working in main KCS (or more, but there’s always at least 1)
cherubs are considered kids, so it’s often left to god and god alone
They regulate food for dangerous species
often creating/having deals/sponsoring brands, such as Inception
Often try to give customs for all species, such as meds and stuff for free
there’s a whole hospital besides KCS

if you don’t hunt, you’re nothing for them
A lot of demons prefer to hide themselves using other species identities, the most common are Vampires, which had given vamps a bad rep
There’s demon princes. Yk. Beelzebub, etc, etc. yeah.
Abilities
Can heal or regenerate their ‘victim’
but can’t revive them. ability must be used while consumed/hurting
there’s a time: past 10 mins, it can’t be heal and it’s considered death
Transformations
it varies from demon/devil to demon/devil
it’s way too time consuming if done by a lower rank
their true form is not easily revealed: that’s the peak of their transformation

Similar to humans in the forefront, they’re higher beings
Some were born from angels who fell, other’s like succubus… well there’s no real explanation for evil
